VINTAGE ANNUAL CAKE

 Last week I was a visitor at the local parish church's fair.  I do love a fair but  Mr Lemon Drizzle hates them! It was serendipitous that he had a friend visiting and I could take my tiny kidlet and sniff out some bargins without his sighs. 
We bought a morning glory plant...which has already died, a greying stuffed duck (hideous), a hot dog each (well kidlet just wanted the bun) and some wonderful vintage annuals.

So when my kidlet's nursery asked for a last minute cake for their coffee morning raffle in a massively busy week I opened up one of the annuals for instant inspiration. 

I found this picture and used it for a cookie cake topper on a simple lemon cake.

PIMMS AND PAMPER

 My group of fabulous mompreneurs ( and one dad!) are having an evening of shopping and pampering next Weds.

SOME COOKIE MAGIC!

I made a batch of fairy cookie wands last week for a friend's daughter who was having a fairy party.

My kidlets had an enchanting time.

Anyway I thought I would take the opportunity to create a little magic of my own on picnik.

Can you smell the fairy dust?

Summer Loving

Half term has prevented me from blogging properly but I have to share these pics with you.

 I love the idea of the pot hole gardener. 

 We have plenty of holes in our road that need prettifying maybe he could visit!
