This competition is now closed, thankyou to everyone who entered and congratulations to Gill who won the food processor. x
I have a fabulous giveaway for you today, and it's something that I actually really need myself at the moment, but I'm afraid I can't allow myself to enter in case you accuse me of favoritism.
It is a Kenwood food processor...hurrah! I do own a mini food processor but it is only big enough for a few herbs, and as I am busy testing recipes for Christmas pudding at the moment (coming soon) it is taking an age to make all the bread crumbs that I need.
However this one would be perfect, and it comes with a blender. You can see all the details of the product here.
If you are getting ready for Stir Up Sunday and would love to save some time then I'll tell you how you can be in with a chance of winning. You do have to live in the UK though (sorry rest of the world!)
Let me know in the comment section how you would use this food processor, please leave an email address with your comment too.
Leave a separate comment if you follow me, if you link to this post via Facebook, Twitter or your own blog. So you could have up to five chances of winning.
The competition will close on Tuesday 26th November at 12pm. The winner will be drawn using random.org.
Good luck.
(This competition is in collaboration with Argos, I haven't received any payment or products for hosting this giveaway.)

NOW CLOSED!
My Kenwood mixer, which had a food processor attachment, has recent given up on me. In hindsight, this was probably due to overuse (loving overuse, but overuse all the same). I rather feel like I've lost an old friend so winning this will fill the hole in my heart, and let me crack on with the Christmas baking! Adrienne.
ReplyDeleteIn my sheer excitement I forgot to leave an email on my comment just before. Adrienne- adriennescott@hotmail.com. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello! I always follow you in all that you post, I'm a big fan! I'd use the food processor to make bread crumbs from frozen bread (the end bits that no one eats), and also use the blender to make some drinks using fresh orange and carrots... beetroots, avocados, etc! Thanks!

oooh what a lovely prize! I'm not sure exactly what but I'd definitely be saving time with this and would probably start by blending the base for home-made cheesecake in it.

ReplyDeleteHi Natasha, just found your blog and it's great. I would love the chance to win this food processor. I would use it to make warming winter soups. I've just moved house and have a garden for the first time, so I will hopefully have some produce soon that will need using up!
ReplyDeleteA food processor would be the ideal additional to my kitchen lab i love to experiment with different fruits and nuts in cheesecakes, layered cake etc. It would definitely save time and energy trying to pound and grind all the necessary ingredients :).

Food processors are one of the best kitchen gadgets as they can be used for almost anything; soups, sauces, breadcrumbs, dough... I've just moved into a new flat and really want a food processor so I can start baking and cooking new recipes!

Last Christmas I asked for a food processor only to be told by my partner that it wasn't much of a present as it was for kitchen use so I asked again for my birthday only to receive the same response. I now have a 10 month old baby so presents for us this year are out the window. I would love to win this food processor so that I can make a wider selection of dishes for my family as I really enjoy cooking and baking and this may be the only way for me to receive one. Ha! It would truly make my Christmas magical :)
ReplyDeleteI tragically broke my old food processor yesterday, Natasha. I've had it for 10 years and it was already 10 years old when I bought it second-hand from and old landlord.
ReplyDeleteI use it for all-in-one cake mixing and airy butter creams galore. I'm way too lazy to hand rub butter into flour for pastry and crumbles. And what about my curries? There's no faster way to make a pungent paste. Veg chopping and grating and soup and sauce whizzing, not to mention legendary battles with mayonnaise..... I'm gonna miss that pile of plastic and metal..... unless of course lady luck shines on me in your competition. I would be very grateful if you could put my name in the toque to win a new one reidpatriciac@hotmail.com ; If I won it, it would never be idle.
